  Note
t  The door is adjusted correctly and, when closed, the clearance around it is uniform. The door must not be too protruded nor too receded, and the contours must be aligned.
t  For this adjustment, the vehicle must be supported on the wheels.
–  Remove the rear door lining → Body - Internal assembly works; Rep. Gr.70.
   
–  Turn the adjustable buffer 90° with a wrench (24) and remove the buffer.
–  Remove the rubber buffer -1- from the adjustment buffer and release the fastening screw (internal hex screw with 3 mm) until it is possible to pull the lock tab out.

–  Pull the lock tab out of the housing and adjust it to the dimension a = approx. 14 mm.
  Note
When the buffer is new, it is adjusted to a distance of 12.5 mm.

–  Place the adjustment buffer, turning it 90°.
–  Lower the rear door slowly until the adjustment buffers are seated on the latch support.

–  Continue to press the door downward carefully, until there is a movement upward of a = 4.5 mm (see illustration) between the lower corners of the split tail lights.
–  Open the rear door again.

–  Thread the screw -1- until the dimension a = 25 mm.
–  Check the adjustment of the second adjustment stop and, if necessary, correct it.
–  Open the door and thread the tightening screw from the second adjustment buffer evenly, until reaching the dimension a = 25 mm.
–  Then, the door is adjusted with previous tension of approx. 3  mm.
–  Install the rear door lining → Body - Internal assembly works; Rep. Gr.70.
