–  Remove the pillar C lining → General body repairs, interior; Rep. Gr.70
–  Raise the sealing lip around the entire glass flange and spray with the cleaning solution -D 009 401 04- (replacement for the sliding material).

–  Pull the cutting wire to inside the vehicle, with the drilling tool (from the glued glass removal kit -VAG 1474B-), through the adhesive.
–  Insert the cutting wire between the lip and the glass flange, with the help of the tube -1- (if the cutting wire breaks, the cutting metal wire can also be used).
–  If the clearance dimensions are too small, continue to insert the cutting wire from the outside and pass it below the lip with a plastic wedge.

–  Place the cutting wire around the side glass.
–  Place the handle -VAG 1351- outside and inside the vehicle.
–  Pull the handle, inside the vehicle, until cutting the adhesive.
