Install
Install
Before installing new brake pads, press the plungers in the cylinder with the refitter device. Before pressing the plungers, collect the reservoir brake fluid in a container. Otherwise, if brake fluid recirculates during this interval it may leak and cause damage.
   
–  Reposition the plungers.
–  Install the brake pads.

–  The larger brake pad is installed on the outside.
  N46-0072
–  Assemble the brake cylinder with the pads in the wheel roller bearing case.
–  First, place the brake cylinder underneath -arrow-.
–  The brake cylinder pin must be behind the wheel roller bearing case guide.
–  Install the screw on the wheel roller bearing case and tighten to 25 Nm → Item.
–  Couple the brake pad wear indicator connector.
–  Install the wheels.
Tightening torques → Running gear, axles, steering; Rep. Gr.44.
  Note
t  After replacing each brake pad, press the brake pedal repeatedly and strongly with the vehicle stopped so that the brake pads are perfectly seated for operation.
t  After replacing the brake pads, check the brake fluid level.
