Cooling system components - remove and install
  WARNING
In all installation jobs, especially in the engine compartment, due to reduced space, pay attention to the following:
t  Place all tube types (fuel, hydraulics, activated charcoal, cooling fluid, brake fluid, vacuum) and electric cables in such a way that original positions are restored.
t  Ensure there is enough free space in relation to all mobile or hot parts.
  Note
t  When engine is hot the cooling system is under pressure. Before starting repair jobs, relieve pressure, if necessary.
t  Hose connections are ensured with spring braces. For repairs, use spring braces.
t  It is recommended to use Pliers -VAS 5024/- or Hose clamping pliers -V.A.G 1921/- to install spring braces.
t  On installation, hoses must not be tensioned and must not interfere with other parts (follow marking on connection and hose).
Check cooling system leak-proof capability with Cooling system tester -V.A.G 1274/- and Adapter -V.A.G 1274/8- and Adapter -V.A.G 1274/9-.
