Removal
   
–  Remove engine bonnet in -arrow direction-.
–  Remove trapezoidal belt → Chapter.
–  Remove mechanical distribution upper protection.
–  Remove vacuum pump for servo-brake.

–  Remove engine lower anti-noise.

–  Install collecting tank 10-222A with feet 10-222A/1.
–  Place collecting tank on support ring on head and slightly tension engine.

–  Loosen fastening screws of engine support/accessories support, accessories support/body and of counter-support of accessories/body -arrows- and completely remove set support.
–  Remove mechanical distribution cover upper part.
  Note
t  Accessories support can only be removed when engine is supported by strutting device 10-222A!
t  Engine support can only be removed when accessories support has already been removed.
t  To loosen engine support screw, it is necessary to rise engine a little with support equipment.
–  Install engine support on engine block.

–  Turn crank shaft to cylinder OT 1.
–  Steering wheel marking -1- must be aligned with transmission marking -2-
  Note
t  Transmission milled surface must be -A- perpendicular to steering wheel marking.
t  With engine removed:
  S13-0224
t  Screw adjusting device 2068 A as shown.
t  Regulate adjusting device to 120 mm. Left slot of the sliding gauge is -arrow A- reference point
t  Turn crank shaft until marking-OT on steering wheel is aligned with -arrow- device point B- for adjustment

–  Mannually screw adjustment screws -1- until bumper.
–  Lock command shaft as shown with rule for command shaft -T10098-.

–  Lock injection pump gear with locking punch 3359.
–  Loosen screws -1- of injection pump gear
–  Remove mechanical distribution cover lower part
–  Remove pad/belt pulley.
–  Mark rotation direction of indented belt.
–  Loosen tension pulley.
–  Remove indented belt.
