| Change the selector lever from "P" to "1". |

| The transmission activation mechanism and the selector lever cable must not be too hard; if necessary, replace the selector lever cable or repair the transmission activation mechanism. |
| The adjusting washer from the selector lever cable in the the transmission idler must always be replaced after being disassembled. |
