| With the oil sump disassembled or if its does not have ATF, do not start the engine nor tow the vehicle. |

| With the gear disassembled, you must fasten the torque converter to prevent it from exiting. |

| Clean all junction points and their surrounding thoroughly and, then, release them. |

| Place the parts disassembled over a clean base and cover them so they do not get dirty. Use plastic and paper sheets. Do not use cloths that release threads! |

| Assemble only clean parts: take the spares from their package immediately before their assembly. |

| Carefully cover or protect open components, if you are not going to perform the repair immediately. |
| t
| When assembling the gearbox, make sure that the bearing sets between the engine and the gear are correctly seated. |
