Removal
Removal
–  Raise the vehicle → Booklet22.1 up to working height.
–  Remove the front wheels.
Continuation for vehicles with anti-roll bar:
   
–  Remove the hexagonal nuts -1- from both sides of the coupling rod -3-.
–  Remove the coupling rod -3- from the anti-roll bar -2-.
Continued for all vehicles:
  N40-10382
–  Mark the installation position for the screws -arrows- from the the swivel guide -1- on the wishbone -2-.

–  Remove the fastening screws -arrows-.
–  Remove the suspension column with the swivel guide, moving it away from the wishbone.

–  Pull the suspension column out and support it using a wood block -1- (for example).

–  Loosen the fastening screws -1- for the steering box from the auxiliary frame and fasten it to the body (using wire, for example).
–  Console of the auxiliary frame (sub-frame) → Chapter.
–  Lower the auxiliary frame Transmission jack or engine set + transmission or EQ 7081 -VAG 1383A- and Tray for hydraulic jack EQ 7081 -VAG 1359/2-
