Steering linkage bar - remove and install > < Power steering box - remove and install|Installation

  Note
t  Soldering or straightening works are not permitted on the steering components.
t  Replace self-locking nuts and screws subject to angular torque
t  Type of oil: Hydraulic oil -325.029.011-. Consult the → Chemical Materials Manual or the → Electronic Parts Catalogue „ETKA“
t  Amount of oil in the system: 0,7 ... 0,9 l
   
1 - Steering terminal of linkage bar (right side)
q   Marked with „C“ → Anchor
q   Check → Chapter.
q   Observe the assembly position → Anchor.
2 - Hexagonal nut
q   50 ± 5 Nm
3 - Clamp
4 - Protective bellows
q   Must not be twisted after adjusting the alignment
q   Remove the steering box to replace it
q   Assemble → Chapter
5 - Clamp
q   Fasten → Chapter
q   Replace - open with pliers
6 - Gasket
7 - Steering terminal of linkage bar (left side)
q   Marked with „D“ → Anchor
q   Check → Chapter.
q   Observe the assembly position → Anchor.
8 - Hexagonal nut
q   50 ± 5 Nm
9 - Clamp
10 - Protective bellows
q   Must not be twisted after adjusting the alignment
q   Remove the steering box to replace it
q   Assemble → Chapter
11 - Clamp
q   Fasten → Chapter
q   Replace - open with pliers
12 - Steering linkage bar (right side)
q   Is supplied along with the steering box as a replacement part.
q   80 ± 8 Nm
13 - Power steering box
q   Remove and install → Chapter
14 - Steering linkage bar (left side)
q   Is supplied along with the steering box as a replacement part.
q   80 ± 8 Nm
15 - Rubber bearing
16 - Clamp with nuts
q   Replace if threads are damaged
17 - Heat shield
q   Only for some markets
q   See: → Electronic Parts Catalogue„ETKA“
18 - Screw
q   8 Nm
