Steering > < Convergence on front axle - adjust
Left and right-hand steering - check
Left and right-hand steering - check
This inspection is only required when:
t  the steering turns until the stop are different in more than 2° (degrees), from the central steering wheel position
t  on one side, there is contact between the tire and parts from the front axle or the body when fully turning the steering wheel
t  the left steering wheel turning diameter is different from that in the right side

The distances between the axle and the tire wishbones -arrow- must be the same with maximum steering.
If the distances differ, then this can be corrected by turning the left and right-hand steering linkage bars
For example:
If the right steering angle is smaller than the left one;
–  Loosen the locknuts from the steering wheel linkage bars.
–  Turn the left steering wheel linkage bar anticlockwise (loosen from the steering bar joint)
–  To reach the same dimensions, turn the right steering bar on the opposite direction and in the same proportion (screw in the steering bar joint).
–  Check total convergence.
Check if the total convergence is still on the prescribed specifications after completing the adjustment!

–  Tighten the locknut -1-. Tightening torque, see → Anchor.
After tightening the locknut -1-, it is possible that the adjusted value slightly changes.
If the set value does not deviate by more than 2' from specification, the setting is OK.
  Note
After turning the steering linkage bars, make sure that the bellows are not twisted!
