"CD player" -R89-„MP3“ - anti-theft system |
The "CD player" -R89-„MP3“ is equipped with an electronic anti-theft system. |
After the electronic anti-theft system is activated for the
first time, an internal code is saved in the "CD player" -R89-„MP3“ and in the Combined
instrument -K- of the vehicle. If during repair
work the "CD player" -R89-„MP3“ should experience a power outage (for example when removing the "CD player" -R89-„MP3“ or the
battery), a data exchange occurs between the "CD player" -R89-„MP3“ and the Combined instrument -K- after the voltage supply is restored. |
In this manner, a comparison is made between the internal
code of the "CD player" -R89-„MP3“ and the Combined instrument -K-. If
the code is identical, the Combined instrument -K- recognizes that the "CD player" -R89-„ MP3 “ installed belongs to the vehicle, and the
radio becomes operational without the need for entering the anti-theft
code. |
