"CD player" -R89-„RCD 200“ - anti-theft system
The "CD player" -R89-„RCD 200“ is equipped with an electronic anti-theft system.
After the electronic anti-theft system is activated for the first time, an internal code is memorized on the vehicle's radio and combined instrument. If, during the repair works, the "CD player" -R89-„RCD 200 “ radio experiences a power outage (for example, when removing the radio or the battery), data is exchanged between the radio and the combined instrument after the supply voltage is reestablished.
This way, the comparison between the internal radio code and the combined panel is performed. If the code is identical, the combined instrument recognizes that the "CD player" -R89-„RCD 200“ installed belongs to the vehicle, and the radio becomes operational without the need for entering the anti-theft code.
  Note
t  Each "CD player" -R89-„RCD 200“ has its own code.
t  The anti-theft system code is glued to the "CD player" -R89-„RCD 200“ card along with the equipment ID number → Radio Instruction Manual.
t  For safety reasons, the "CD player" -R89-„RCD 200“ card should not be kept inside the vehicle. If necessary, request the code from the client.
t  If a "CD player" -R89-„RCD 200“ is replaced, the replacement equipment code must be used.
t  The customer must be informed that the code number was changed.
The electronic anti-theft system starts operating and blocks the radio whenever:
t  the Battery -A- is disconnected.
t  the "CD player" -R89-„RCD 200“ is removed from the vehicle.
t  the Combined instrument -K- is replaced.
