Number plate light (Sedan) - remove and install > < Number plate light (Hatch) - remove and install

Number plate lightX (Hatch) - replace the lamp
Number plate light -X- (Hatch) - replace the lamp
Removal:
–  Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment, and remove the key from ignition.
–  Disconnect the Battery -A- → Chapter.
–  Remove the number plate light → Chapter.
   
–  Remove the fastening screws -arrows-.

–  Press locks towards -arrows-.
–  Remove the lamp (12 V / 5 W).
Installation:
Installation is performed in reverse sequence to the removal, observing the following:
  N94-10974
–  Fasten the fastening screws-arrows- (1.5 Nm).

t  The diffuser glass on the number plate light has a small silver stripe for packing protection -arrow- which shall be always facing the bumper side during installation
t  Check the contact cleaning on the support and on the lamp compartment.
