| Removing retaining strip |
Note| The retaining strip cannot be removed without being damaged. |
| – | Remove bolts -1-. |
| – | Warm the retaining strip -2-, using the hot air blower -V.A.G 1416- to do so. |
| – | Lift a corner of the retaining strip -A-, using a removal wedge -3409- to do so. |
| – | Put your hand under retaining strip -2- and carefully pull it off side member. |
