| Installing water deflector strip |
| – | Remove residual adhesive -1- from windscreen using adhesive strip remover -VAS 6349- and thoroughly clean surfaces -1- using adhesive remover -D 002 000 10-. |
| – | Place water deflector strip on windscreen, mark adhesive surface and mask off using adhesive tape. |
| – | Clean adhesive surface -1- using a lint-free cloth and cleaning solution -D 009 401 04-. |
| – | Apply glass/paint primer -D 009 200 02- to adhesive surface -1- on windscreen. A complete film must cover the glass surface. |
| – | Allow glass/paint primer -D 009 200 02- to dry |
| – | Pull protective backing -2- off water deflector strip. |
| – | Align water deflector strip to roof and A-pillar. |
| – | Press on water deflector strip. |
