Removing and installing steering column trim
Removing and installing steering column trim
Removing
–  Remove driver airbag unit → Chapter.
–  Remove steering wheel → Running gear, axles, steering; Rep. gr.48.
–  Release locking lever of steering wheel adjustment.
–  Pull steering column out and press downwards.
   
–  Release gap cover -1- from mountings.
–  Release upper part of steering column trim -2- from mountings

–  Remove upper part of steering column trim -1-.
  N68-10391
–  Unscrew 2 bolts -1- (1.5 Nm).
  N68-10392
–  Remove bolt -1- (3 Nm).
–  Release lower part of steering column trim -2- from mountings
Installing
–  Install in reverse order of removal.
