Removing and installing side trim
Removing and installing side trim
  Note
Removal and installation are described for the left vehicle side. Follow same instructions for the right side as appropriate.
Removing
–  Remove bench seat → Chapter.
–  Remove backrest → Chapter.
–  Release sill moulding from fasteners in sill at transition to side panel.
   
–  Prise out clip -1-.
–  Unclip side panel trim, starting at rear.

–  If fitted, disconnect connector from interior monitor switch -E183-.
Installing
  Note
Before installing, check securing elements of side trim for damage and renew if necessary.
   
  Caution
Before installing side panel trim, ensure that the locking mechanisms of all clips are in -position 1-.
It is not possible to install the side panel trim without problem if clips are in -position 2-.

–  Install in reverse order of removal.
