| Move temperature flap lever -3- to end positions and mark these positions on distribution box (flap fully open -2- and flap fully closed -4-). |

| Set actuator -1- to position "Flap closed -4-". |
| –
| Close temperature flap (move lever -3- down to stop). |
| –
| Insert actuator -1- into mounting -6- and guide in direction of arrow onto distribution box (pin of actuator -1- must engage in track of lever -3-). |

| Engage actuator on distribution box -5-. |
| –
| Turn temperature knob on control for heated and fresh air to „Cold“ position. Connect flexible shaft to actuator -1-. |

| Check function of actuator. |
Note | It must be possible to move temperature flap to end positions (markings -2- and -4-) easily and smoothly. |
| Adjustment of temperature flap not OK: |

| Remove actuator and repeat installation, as described. |
| Adjustment of temperature flap OK: |

| Install footwell vent and centre console. |
