Installing > < Removing and installing clutch pedal with over-centre spring, Polo 2010 ? LHD

Removing
–  Remove driver side trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70.
–  Remove footwell vent → Heating, air conditioning; Rep. gr.80.
   
–  Remove crash bar -arrow-.
–  Remove clutch pedal switch -F36- → Chapter.

–  Release master cylinder operating rod from clutch pedal as follows:
–  Pull clutch pedal gently into passenger compartment.
–  Press sides of retainer inwards -arrows- using pliers -T10005-.

–  Remove bearing shaft for clutch pedal.
–  To do this, turn bearing shaft for clutch pedal to left -direction of arrow-.
-1- = Allen key, 8 mm AF.
Locking devices -A- are irreparably damaged.
Pins -B- are then horizontal.
–  Move clutch pedal so you can pull out bearing shaft.
–  Take out over-centre spring.
–  Remove clutch pedal.
