l  With gearbox in neutral, gear lever must rest in gate for 3rd and 4th gear.
–  Operate clutch.
–  Select all gears several times. Pay particular attention to operation of reverse gear lock.
–  If it continues to be difficult to engage a gear after repeated attempts, repeat adjustment procedure of selector mechanism → Chapter.
