t  Hose clamps up to  25 mm -3094-

t  Drip tray for workshop hoist -VAS 6208-
  W00-10228
t  Hose clip pliers -VAS 6362-
Removing
–  Noise insulation → Rep. gr.50.
  W00-10427
–  Disconnect electrical connector -2- and free electrical wiring.
–  Place drip tray for workshop crane -VAS 6208- beneath engine.
–  Clamp off coolant hoses with hose clamps -3094- and remove from right coolant pipes, releasing hose clips -1, 3- to do so.
–  Undo bolts -arrows- and remove coolant pipes on right.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
l  Specified torques → Chapter.
  Note
Secure all hose connections with the correct type of hose clips (same as original equipment) → Electronic parts catalogue.
–  Install noise insulation → Rep. gr.50.
–  Check coolant level → Chapter.
