Removing and installing charge air pipe »hot« side
Procedure
–  Remove engine cover panel → Chapter.
–  With ignition switched off, disconnect earth strap from battery. → Electrical system; Rep. gr.27.
–  Remove battery and battery tray → Electrical system; Rep. gr.27.
–  Remove air filter housing with air mass meter and connecting pipe → Rep. gr. 21 „Turbocharging/supercharging“.
   
–  Loosen clamp -2- on connecting hose to pulsation damper. Unscrew securing bolt -3- from charge air pipe.
–  Unscrew securing bolt -arrow- from charge air pipe. Pull connecting hose from pulsation damper as far as possible.

–  Unclip top coolant hose on charge air pipe -arrow-.

–  Unclip wiring harness on charge air pipe -arrows-.

–  Remove »hot side« connecting hose -arrow-.
  N21-10235
–  Remove securing bolts -arrows- of charge air pipe on »hot side«.
–  Remove charge air pipe.
Installing
–  Install in reverse order. In the process, note the following:
–  First start all securing bolts on charge air pipe. Then tighten. Torque settings → Chapter
Replace damaged cable ties and clips.
