1 - Bracket for ancillaries
q   Removing and installing → Rep. gr.13.
2 - Bolt
q   Qty. 2.
q   Renew.
q   20 Nm +180°
3 - Hub
q   Use counterhold tool -T10051- to loosen and tighten.
q   To remove, use puller -T40064-.
4 - High-pressure pump toothed belt pulley
5 - Bolt
q   Renew.
q   Qty. 3.
q   20 Nm
6 - Nut
q   95 Nm
7 - Bolt
q   Renew.
q   20 Nm +45°
8 - High-pressure pump
  Caution
Danger of functional impairment due to contamination/soiling
Note → Chapter „Rules for cleanliness“
Risk of irreparable damage to high-pressure pump if allowed to run while empty
If high-pressure pump has been installed, it must be filled with fuel before engine is first started → Chapter.
q   With fuel metering valve -N290- (do not open).
q   After high-pressure pump or fuel pressure regulating valve -N276- is replaced, learned values have to be re-adapted, see „Guided Functions “ in vehicle diagnostic tester.
q   Removing and installing.
9 - High-pressure line
q   Between high-pressure pump and fuel rail
q   Do not alter shape
q   Check for damage before re-installing.
q   When renewing high-pressure pump, also renew high-pressure line.
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
q   Lubricate threads of union nuts with clean engine oil.
q   25 Nm
10 - Fuel supply hose
11 - Fuel return hose
