Removing and installing fuel filter

Removing

»Carry out the following work sequence«

–	Pull fuel supply lines at quick-releasing couplings off fuel filter -1-. To do this, press the quick-release couplings onto the unions, press in the locking elements (keep pressed) and pull the quick-release couplings off.

–	Unclip fuel filter -1- out of fuel filter lower part.

–	Remove fuel filter upwards.

Installing

Install in reverse order. In the process, note the following:

t	Observe installation position of fuel filter. The indented arrows on the filter mark the fuel input and output.

t	Route fuel hoses without kinking.

t	Ensure that quick-release couplings are firmly seated. Check that it has engaged securely by pulling on it.

–	Bleeding fuel system → Chapter.
