1 - Gasket
q   Renew.
2 - Bracket
3 - 20 Nm
4 - Turbocharger with exhaust manifold
q   With charge air controller -V465-
q   If renewed, erase learnt values and adapt engine control unit → Vehicle diagnostic tester„Guided functions“
  Note
Turbocharger can only be renewed complete with exhaust manifold and charge air controller -V465-.
q   Remove and install → Chapter
5 - O-ring
q   Renew.
6 - Oil return pipe
7 - 8 Nm
8 - 10 Nm
9 - Heat shield
10 - 8 Nm
11 - Coolant pipes
12 - 8 Nm
13 - Stage 1: 18 Nm, stage 2: 12 Nm, stage 3: 12 Nm
q   Renew.
  Caution
The securing nuts must be tightened in three stages and in the specified order → Chapter.
This ensures that the gasket seals correctly.
If this 3-stage tightening sequence is not adhered to, leaks will develop between the cylinder head and exhaust manifold.
q   Specified torque for stud in cylinder head: 18 Nm (oil before inserting)
14 - Seal
q   Renew.
15 - Banjo bolt
q   Specified torque: 20 Nm
16 - Oil supply pipe
17 - O-ring
q   Renew.
18 - 8 Nm
