Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Refractometer -T10007-
t  Hose clip pliers -VAS 6340-
t  Torque wrench -V.A.G 1331-

   
t  Hose clamps up to 40 mm -3093-
Removing
Golf Plus, Eos, Scirocco, Golf, Golf Cabriolet, Touran, Polo
–  Remove noise insulation → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.50.
Tiguan
–  Depending on vehicle equipment, remove noise insulation or skid plate → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.50.
Continuation for all vehicles
–  Seal coolant hoses with hose clamps up to 40 mm -3093-.
  W00-0671
–  Remove spring-type clips -arrows- and pull coolant hoses off.
–  Pull connector -1- off and remove securing bolt -2-.
–  Remove coolant circulation pump -V50--3-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. When installing, note the following:
Specified torque for securing bolt: 10 Nm.
–  Check coolant level; replenish as necessary (Golf Plus, Eos, Scirocco, Golf, Golf Cabriolet, Touran, Tiguan) → Chapter.
–  Check coolant level; replenish as necessary (Polo) → Chapter.
