| q | The turbocharger and the exhaust manifold can only be renewed together. |
| 4 - | Seal |
| q | Renew. |
| 5 - | 25 Nm |
| q | Renew studs and fastening nuts. |
| Observe tightening sequence: items -A- to -I- → Chapter. |
| Screw studs into cylinder head until they project only by 25 mm. |
| 6 - | Clamp |
| q | Mounting position and specified torque → Chapter |
| q | Tighten bolted connections evenly. |
| 7 - | Catalytic converter with front silencer |
| q | With flexible connection (de-coupling element). |
| q | Do not bend flexible connection more than 10° - otherwise it can be damaged. |
| 8 - | Mounting |
| 9 - | Lambda probe -G39-, 50 Nm |
| q | Grease only the threads with „G 052 112 A3“; „G 052 112 A3“ must not get into the slots on the probe body. |
| q | Remove and install with Lambda probe open ring spanner set -3337-. |
| 10 - | 25 Nm |
| 11 - | Bracket |
| 12 - | 10 Nm |
| 13 - | Seal |
| q | Renew. |
| 14 - | 23 Nm |
| q | Renew. |
| 15 - | Lambda probe after catalytic converter -G130- |
| q | Specified torque: 50 Nm |
| q | Grease only the threads with „G 052 112 A3“; „G 052 112 A3“ must not get into the slots on the probe body. |
| q | If seal is leaking, nip open and renew. |
| 16 - | 10 Nm |
