| Spring-type clip pliers -VAS 5024A- or hose clip pliers -VAS 6340- are recommended for installation of spring-type clips. |

| Secure all hose connections with hose clips which conform to production standard. |

| Hose connections and hoses for charge air system must be free of oil and grease before assembly. The oil seal and sealing surface must only be oiled lightly for connector couplings → Chapter. |

| Charge air system must be free of leaks. |
