  Note
The housings for ignition coils with output stages have been modified. As a result, these ignition coils can only be installed or removed using puller -T10094 A-. The previous puller -T10094- can continue to be used if modified as described below.
  W00-10526
–  Remove marked area -2- using suitable workshop equipment to attain the new nominal dimension -B- of 18 mm.
–  Additionally identify the tool designation with the letter A -1-.
Removing
  N28-10068
–  Lift engine cover panel at points -1- and pull it forwards in direction of -arrow-.
  N10-10281
–  Unscrew securing bolts -1- from crankcase breather union and non-return valve.
–  Pull off connector -2- from turbocharger air recirculation valve -N249- and pull off hose connection -3-.
–  Pull off hose -4- from intake manifold connection.
  N28-10100
–  Fit puller -T10094 A- on ignition coil with final output stage -arrow-.
–  Pull ignition coil with final output stage out slightly.
–  Fit assembly tool -T10118- as shown.
–  Carefully release connector locking mechanism and pull off connector.
Installing
–  Fit puller -T10094 A- on ignition coil with final output stage.
–  Push connector onto ignition coil with final output stage until it audibly engages.

–  Press ignition coil with final output stage into cylinder head in direction of -arrow-.
  N28-10067
–  Push rubber sleeve -1- into hose -2-.
–  Push hose -2- onto intake manifold connection -3-.
Further installation is carried out in the reverse sequence of removal.
Specified torques of securing bolts for crankcase breather connection and for non-return valve: 10 Nm
