1 - Fuel filter bracket
2 - Fuel filter
q   The stamped arrows on the filter mark the fuel input and output.
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
3 - Supply line
q   From fuel delivery unit
q   White marking
4 - Supply line
q   To high-pressure fuel pump
q   White marking
5 - 20 Nm
6 - 20 Nm
7 - 20 Nm

   
Fuel transfer point
t  A = Supply line, white or white marking
t  B = Return line, blue or blue marking
t  Disconnect push-on connector → Chapter
Fuel pre-heating valve
Fuel return lines to fuel tank, blue or blue marking.
Fuel supply lines to fuel filter, white or white marking.

Check for secure seating.
»Carry out the following work sequence«
Removing
  N20-10529
–  Use a finger to release locking lug of fuel pre-heater valve.
–  Pull fuel pre-heater valve upwards out of coolant expansion tank guide.
Installing
–  Push fuel pre-heater valve into coolant expansion tank guide from above.
Locking lug must engage on coolant expansion tank again.
