Removing:
Before beginning dismantling work, perform the following steps:
–  Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.
2-door vehicle:
To renew a loudspeaker, first remove the side panel trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70 or → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70
4-door vehicle:
To renew a loudspeaker, the door trim must first be removed → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70.
Continued for all:
   
–  Release connector catch on loudspeaker in direction of -arrows- and disconnect connector -1-.

–  Drill out rivets -arrows- using suitable drill bit and remove loudspeaker.
  Note
t  It is essential that all swarf be removed from the door because otherwise corrosion damage will occur.
t  If, when drilling out rivets, damage to the paintwork is caused, rectify the damage immediately.
