Removing and installing interior light with switch-off delayW15
Removing and installing interior light with switch-off delay -W15-
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Removal wedge -VAS 3409-
  Note
When removing and installing components that are in view (switches, covers, trim and so on), mask off areas in which tools (removal wedge -VAS 3409-, screwdriver) are used to lever out those components using commercially available tape.
Removing:
–  Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers.
–  Remove anti-theft alarm sensor -G578- → Chapter.

–  Carefully lever out lens of interior light with switch-off delay -W15--1- with removal wedge -VAS 3409--arrows- and remove.

–  Unclip locking lugs -arrows- and remove interior light with switch-off delay -W15--1- from roof trim as far as cable lengths permit.

–  Release microphone connector -1- and disconnect.
–  Release connector -2- for interior light with switch-off delay -W15--3-, disconnect and remove front interior light with switch-off delay -W15--3-.
Installing:
Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence.
