Removing and installing rear interior lightW43
Removing and installing rear interior light -W43-
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Removal wedge -VAS 3409-
  Note
When removing and installing components that are in view (switches, covers, trim and so on), mask off areas in which tools (removal wedge -VAS 3409-, screwdriver) are used to lever out those components using commercially available tape.
Removing:
–  Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers.

–  Use a screwdriver or the removal wedge -VAS 3409- to carefully lever out the two lenses.

–  Release the 4 locking lugs -arrows- using a screwdriver or the removal wedge -VAS 3409- and carefully pull out the interior light downwards.
–  Disconnect connector.
Installing:
Installation is carried out in reverse order of removal.
