Removing and installing headlight range control motor
Removing and installing headlight range control motor
  Note
t  If control motors are removed and reinstalled or renewed, the headlight adjustment must be checked and adjusted as necessary → Booklet.
t  The illustrations show the renewal of the headlight range control motor for the left headlight.
–  Switch off ignition and all electrical loads, and pull out ignition key.
–  Remove headlight → Chapter.
   
–  Remove screws -A- and remove cover -1-.

–  Pull off connector -1- from headlight range control servomotor-2-, release servomotor in -direction of arrow- and pull out slightly from mounting.
–  Move headlight range control servomotor-2- in such a way that ball head of headlight range control servomotor can be pulled out downwards from ball head cup.
–  Remove headlight range control motor from headlight housing.
Installing:
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. When installing observe the following:
  Caution
When installing cover cap, ensure cap is seated correctly. The ingress of water will lead to permanent damage to the headlight.
–  Check headlight functions.
–  Check headlight setting and adjust headlight if necessary → Booklet
