place tubing on pin and bend hinge in required direction (arrows) to adjust door alignment

Note Check tightness of pin between attempts at bending hinge. Install the check strap pin loosely while checking door alignment.

when alignment is correct, tighten hinge bolt to proper torque:

45 + 5 N-m (33 + 3.5 ft.lbs.)

seal hinge with preservation wax, Part No. AKR 321 M15.4

install check strap pin and replace clamping washer

CAUTION

Always replace self-locking door hinge bolts if removed during repairs or door adjustment.
