Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

^

Torque wrench 5-50 Nm VAG 1331

^

Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051B or subsequent unit

^

Diagnostic lead VAS 5051/6A

or

Diagnostic lead VAS 5051/5A

or

Vehicle diagnosis and service system VAS 5052

Diagnostic lead, 2 m VAS 5052/3 A

or

Diagnostic lead, 5 m VAS 5052/3 A-1

also for adding:

Charging device F/Haldex 2 coup. VAS 6291

Drip tray for VAS 6100 VAS 6208

Requirements

The final drive must be in the installation position.

-

Add high performance Haldex clutch oil if necessary.

-

Raise vehicle.

-

Use the charging device F/Haldex 2 coup. VAS 6291 to add oil.

-

Place the drip tray for VAS 6100 VAS 6208 below.

Note:

^

Lay a cloth on the crossmember -arrows-.

^

If oil gets on the crossmember or enters the perforations in the crossmember, it must be carefully removed.
