Fuse Block: Service and Repair
Main Fuse Box, R32

Main Fuse Box, R32

Main fuse box is located at rear right of luggage compartment under tool kit and wagon jack formed insert.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Torque Wrench V.A.G 1331

CAUTION:
-

Observe safety precautions when working on battery isolation system.

-

Observe notes for disposal of battery isolator units

Removing

-

Remove Battery Interrupt Igniter N253

-

Remove nuts - 1 -, - 2 - and - 3 - and remove wires from connector threads.

-

Pull harness connector - 4 - out of its secured position in main fuse box.

-

Pull the locking lever - 2 - outward in the direction of the arrow and disconnect the connector - 1 -.

-

Remove both nuts - arrows - and remove main fuse box - 1 - from vehicle.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:
