Press off tie rod end from wheel bearing housing using ball joint puller 3287A.

Secure subframe with brackets.

Remove stabilizer from subframe -11 and 16-.

Remove pendulum support from transmission, remove bolts -14- to do so.

Place engine/transmission jack V.A.G 1383 A below subframe.

Place, for example, a piece of wood -1- between engine/transmission jack V.A.G 1383 A and subframe.
