Final Drive Fluid: Service and Repair

Oil

Note:

The final drive and Haldex clutch have separate oil circuits.

^

Do not mix additives into oil.

^

Do not refill drained oil.

The final drive is filled with gear oil and the Haldex clutch with high performance Haldex clutch oil.

The oil for the "final drive" and the "Haldex clutch" is available as a replacement part.

CAUTION! Be cautious when dealing with oil. Dispose of drained oil properly. Consider this: One drop of oil can contaminate 1000 liters of
drinking water.
