Ribbed Belt

Ribbed Belt

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Drift T10060A

Ribbed belt, removing 

-

Remove noise insulation.

-

Remove front part of right front wheel housing liner.

Remove ribbed belt for A/C compressor 

-

Mark direction of rotation of ribbed belt.

-

Swivel tensioning element - 1 - as depicted using a 15 mm open end wrench - A - in direction of - arrow - and secure using drift T10060A.

-

Remove ribbed belt for A/C compressor.

Remove ribbed belt for generator and coolant pump. 

-

Relieve tension of tensioning element - 1 - for A/C compressor ribbed belt (pull out drift T10060A).

-

Mark running direction of ribbed belt for generator and coolant pump.

-

Insert drift T10060A into tensioning element - 2 -.

-

Swivel tensioning element - 2 - using a 15 mm open end wrench - A - in direction of - arrow - and secure using drift T10060A.

-

Remove ribbed belt for generator and coolant pump.

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:
