Rabbit Convertible L4-1715cc 1.7L SOHC (1982)
CONDITION
Differential oil leaking from final drive housing cover.
SERVICE SOLUTION

Replace cover gasket 3, with metal gasket, Part No. 010 409 597A.

Apply sealant compound, Part No. AKD 456 000 02, to attaching bolts 1.
^
Install cover attaching bolts 1 and torque to 75 N-m (55 Ft.Lbs.).
