Air Door Cable: Service and Repair
With A/C

Replacement

NOTE:  
-

The top control lever is connected to the vacuum distributor to control the ventilation air flow. The bottom lever is connected to the vacuum
distributor, the A/C thermostat switch and the bowden cable for the heater valve.

Figures in ( ) refer to applicable points in the image.

1. Pry off the control head trim plate.
2. Remove the control head mounting screws.

3. Pull off the multi-point connector.
4. Disconnect the heater valve control cable from the lever.

NOTE:  Record vacuum hose connections before disconnecting the vacuum distributor.

5. Disconnect the vacuum hoses.
