Air Door Cable: Service and Repair
Without A/C

Replacement

Pry off the control head trim plate.

Remove the control head mounting screws.

Disconnect the control cables from the levers.

Disconnect the control cable from the heater valve and remove the cable.

Install the cable onto the heater valve and, making sure that the valve is closed (A), install the other retaining clip (B).

Place the heat control lever in the closed position, install the cable onto the control head and install the retaining clip.

Install the defrost and floor vent cables onto the control levers making sure that the flaps are in the closed position, install the cable retaining clips.

8

Install the control head.
