1.

Remove brake pads as outlined previously.

2.

Remove caliper, caliper mounting frame and caliper floating frame, Fig. 4, then disconnect brake line.

3.

Pressing outward, separate mounting frame from caliper.

4.

Position caliper and floating frame on workbench. Using a brass drift, or equivalent, drive caliper from floating frame.

5.

Reverse procedure to install and bleed brake system.

CALIPER OVERHAUL

1.

Remove caliper as outlined previously.

2.

Remove dust seal circlip and dust seal, then support piston on a wooden block.

3.

Apply low pressure compressed air to fluid port and blow piston out of cylinder bore.

4.

Using a plastic rod, pry piston seal out of cylinder bore.

5.

Coat new piston seal and piston with brake cylinder paste, then install into cylinder bore.

6.

Install dust seal and circlip onto piston.

7.

Install caliper assembly, then bleed brake system.
