Scirocco L4-1781cc 1.8L DOHC (1986)
Instrument Cluster: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
On 1985-88 models, remove steering wheel using a suitable puller.
3.
On all models, remove 2 screws securing cluster bezel and remove bezel.
4.
Remove screw at top of instrument cluster and tilt cluster away from dash.
5.
Disconnect wiring harness connectors and speedometer cable and remove cluster.
6.
Reverse procedure to install.
