Pull the rear bumper cover - 1 - out of the catches in the guide profile - 3 - - arrows -.

-

Disconnect harness connectors of installed electrical components.

Remove the release button bracket - 9 - out of the bumper cover - 1 - catch - 9 -- arrow c -.

-

Remove the bracket downward - arrow c -.

Installation

To install, perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.

-

Make sure gaps are parallel and note gap dimensions. 

Trailer Hitch

Removal

‹› The tightening specifications only apply to factory-installed trailer hitches.

‹›  Obtain tightening specifications of other tow hitches from corresponding manufacturer.

‹› The bolts - 2 - are not loosened.

Remove bumper cover. 

-

Disconnect the electrical connector leading to the vehicle.

-

Remove the bolts - 3 -.
