General Information

CAUTION!
‹› For safety reasons, all tires on the vehicle should be of the same make and tread design.

‹› For vehicles with all-wheel drive, the tires on the vehicle must be of the same make and tread design. Otherwise the center differential

may be damaged.

‹› Tire inflation pressure table applies to normal tires, for all tire sizes installed at factory.

‹› Note that the inflation specifications refer to the air pressure of cold tires. Do not reduce tire pressure when the tires are warm.

‹› Tires pressures for the relevant model are on a label attached to the inside of fuel tank flap, or on driver's side B-pillar.

‹› Adjust tire pressure accordingly.

‹› Spare tire receives highest tire pressure

‹› On vehicles with tire pressure monitoring display, make sure that a basic setting is performed after each pressure adjustment, refer to See: Tire

Monitoring System.

Winter Tires

‹› Important information about recommended winter tires can be found in => Suspension, Wheels, Steering 44 Description and Operation.

‹› The tire pressures for standard tires apply as well as to winter tires. 

Tire Pressures

Check tire inflation pressure using (VAS 5216) and correct it if necessary.
