Relay Box: Service and Repair

Instrument Panel Relay Carrier

CAUTION!
When disconnecting and connecting battery, the procedure must be followed as described in the Repair Information. Refer to => [
Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] See: Starting and Charging/Tools and Equipment/Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting. 

Removing:

-

Disconnect battery. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] See: Starting and Charging/Tools and Equipment/Battery,
Disconnecting and Connecting.

Remove the left driver trim.

Vehicles With Parallel Parking Assistance Only:

-

Remove the Parallel Parking Assistance Control Module (J791). Refer to => [ Parallel Parking Assistance Control Module ] See: Accessories and
Optional Equipment/Collision Avoidance and Parking Assist Systems/Service and Repair/Front and Parallel Parking Assistance Components. 

Continuation For All Vehicles:

-

Release the latches - arrows A - and pull the relay carrier - 1 - slightly downward out of the bracket.

Swivel the relay carrier - 1 - under the tabs -  arrow B -.

-

Release the harness connectors on the back side of the relay carrier -  1 -.

-

Remove the relay carrier - 1 - from the vehicle. 

Installing:

Install in reverse order of removal.
