Airbag Control Module

Removing

-

Disconnect vehicle battery.

-

Remove the footwell trim => [ Footwell Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Footwell Trim

‹› For clarity of the illustration, the trim is depicted as removed in the illustration.

-

Remove the two nuts - 1 - (2 Nm) 

-

Remove the left bracket - 2 -, remove the right bracket -  3 -.

-

Open the connector lock mechanism and pull it off the control module. 

-

Remove the nuts - 1 - and - 2 - (9 Nm).
