Seat Belt Height Adjuster: Service and Repair

Front Seat Belt Height Adjuster

‹› Removal and installation is described for the left-hand side of the vehicle. Removal and installation for the right-hand side is performed in the

same manner.

Removing

-

Remove the upper trim on the B-pillar from the brackets => [ Upper B-Pillar Trim Mounts ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim
Panel/Service and Repair/Upper B-Pillar Trim Mounts

‹› It is not necessary to remove the belt anchor from the front safety belt.

-

Remove bolt - 1 - (40 Nm) and remove belt relay -  2 - from belt height adjuster.

-

Remove bolt - 3 - (20 Nm) and separate belt height adjuster - 4 - from mounting in carrier plate.

Installing

-

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
